Solar thermal hot water company eaga Renewables (formerly Zen eaga Solar) began life as a joint venture between eaga and Dutch renewable energy experts Zen International.
eaga Renewables works with solar thermal hot water systems, which are used to provide domestic hot water. This is a proven technology which is straightforward and reliable. With an efficiency of over 80%, solar thermal hot water is the most effective renewable technology on the market.
So far, in less than two years of operation, eaga Renewables have installed solar thermal heating systems on a broad spectrum of buildings including schools, swimming pools, blocks of flats and private households; totalling over three hundred square metres of solar thermal panels. This is now saving more than 80 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
