HEAT (Heat, Energy and Associated Technology) joined eaga’s Heating Division in December 2006.
Experts in the design, installation and maintenance of domestic central heating in the social housing market within the UK, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, HEAT’s current installation programme exceeds 5000 properties, and the company has the capacity to complete more than 100,000 services annually.
In 2000, HEAT won two Egan style contracts for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for the design, installation and maintenance of central heating appliances, and this success has enabled the organisation to invest in and build upon its expertise, growing its workforce to over 300 people.
HEAT’s activities are underpinned by the company’s innovative approach to everything it does and by its six Core Values, which together make the company a leader in its field in everything from Customer Service, IT, service delivery (specialising in a one day installation), partnering with the client to devise ‘no access’ solutions to servicing, and the development and installation of renewable technology.
There is a strong culture of continuous improvement at HEAT and great focus is given to the personal development of HEAT staff to enable them to be the best at what they do. To paraphrase the Core Value on employees ‘Our people make the difference’. HEAT staff voted the company into 31st place in the 2006 Sunday Times Best Companies listing.
HEAT has received recognition throughout the industry for its innovative approach to its core business: in 2006 the company was awarded the CORGI Installer of the Year for Northern Ireland and in the same year, was voted Belfast Telegraph Business of the Year by a panel of experts from the Northern Irish business community.
