Eaga’s Executive Committee has the role of overseeing the growth of the business and the implementation of our strategic development and direction.
Paul Varley, Group Commercial Director
Paul has a proven track record of delivering success and managing rapid growth in contract management businesses and has extensive experience in business process reengineering whilst maintaining a strong customer focus.
Paul joined Eaga in 2006 from LogicaCMG where he was the UK Business Development Director responsible for outsourcing strategy. Previous to that he was an Operations Director with Siemens UK.
Paul started his career as an accountant with Procter & Gamble where he progressed through the organisation working alongside production, marketing and sales teams and finally into general management as Associate Director Accounting and Finance, Global Business Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
John Swinney, Group Corporate Services Strategy Director
John joined Eaga in November 2009 as Corporate Services Strategy Director.
John is a former Chief Executive Officer at leading social housing management company Pinnacle PSG and brings with him more than 35 years of experience in both the public and private sector.
Michael McMahon, Group Operations Director
Michael joined Eaga after spending 13 years working for the construction giant, Tulloch Group holding positions from Quantity Surveyor through to Managing Director of the Tulloch Service Division.
He joined Eaga in May 2006 following the company's acquisition of various parts of the Tulloch Group and was appointed divisional Commercial Director in November 2006.
In June 2008 Michael was appointed Divisional Managing Director of Eaga Installation Services overseeing activity across the domestic insulation and heating markets.
Michael is now Eaga's Group Operations Director.
With an BSC (Hons) degree from Glasgow and a MBA from Edinburgh, Michael is committed to developing one of Eaga's fastest growing sections of the business and expanding the products, services and sectors within it.
Giles Sharp, Group Finance and Investor Relations Director
Giles joined Eaga in May 2005 as Group Financial Controller and subsequently was appointed Director of Financial Planning in which role he played a key role in IPO of Eaga on the main list of the London Stock Exchange in June 2007.
Giles was appointed Director of Investor Relations in April 2008 and has responsibility for managing the company’s relationships with the investment community.
Giles joined Eaga from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a senior manager in the Transaction Services team, advising clients on a wide variety of complex M&A transactions.
Mitesh Dhanak, Group Business Development Director
Mitesh Dhanak joined Eaga in February 2006. He is a member of Eaga’s Operating Board with a specific remit to consider the issues arising around energy and water use and the need to minimise the environmental impacts associated with climate change.
Previously he worked in a number of UK Government policy and programme delivery roles. These included Head of the English European Regional Development Fund and the Thames Gateway Delivery Unit. He is married and keen cricket enthusiast.
