Partnership

eaga has a proud history as an employee owned Partnership and social enterprise. The way in which the company approaches life as a plc is a natural progression for eaga and underlines its ongoing commitment to Partnership in a plc environment.

On admission to the LSE over 51 percent of the company remained in the hands of its Partners (employees) through the eaga Partnership Trust (ePT – the body which holds shares for the benefit of eaga Partners) shareholding and shareholdings of individual employees – underlining eaga’s ongoing commitment to promoting employee engagement through Partnership. At flotation the ePT was the company’s largest single shareholder with a 37.6 percent stake in eaga.

eaga’s history underpins the knowledge that by retaining a large shareholding for our employees now and in the future it will maintain the engagement of its employees through a strong Partnership ethos. As shareholders eaga’s employees interests are aligned with those of our external shareholders and their engagement, underpinned by our strong company values and that Partnership ethos, will be what drives the company’s future success.

eaga plc is an exciting business model which we hope will be followed by others in the future.
